If your music source is compact disc, just load the CD and lift tracks from the same or different CD’s until a playlist is complete. Arrange in any order, set the gap times, adjust song length to fit the CD, and then click one button to burn the CD. It is just that simple (CD-R/W device needed).

If the music source is an LP, 45, 78, cassette, or reel-to-reel tape, CD-Recorder captures the music on hard disk with the PC connected to a stereo through the sound card with a regular stereo patch cable. MIDI files can be used and CD-Recorder will convert them with an all-digital process (no cables). Next use DART DeClickÔ and DART DeHissÔ DirectX plug-ins to clean up the audio if desired. DeClick and DeHiss will remove click, pop, scratch, and hiss distortions. Mix tracks from CD’s if desired. Next, organize the tunes into playlists in any order. Finally, a standard Red Book CD that works in any compact disc player is made with just one button click.

Here is how it works - after setting the correct levels on a MIDI rendering sound card, just hi-light a MIDI file and click the MIDI button on the CD-Recorder tool bar. CD-Recorder will use the MIDI hardware in your PC to render the sound files into .wav files. You will hear the audio as it is rendered. This is an all digital process with no patch cables and easy to do anytime. The resulting .wav files can be added to the playlist just like any other .wav file. When the playlist is completed just click the CD record button and CD-Recorder will automatically convert all .wav files to standard music CD format and write the CD. It is simple and easy to use.
